Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to release November 13, 2020.  The game is a first-person shooter and takes place in the early 1980s during the Cold War.  The game is available now for pre-order and prices vary depending on which pack you purchase.  There are three packs, the standard edition, which is $59.99, the cross-gen bundle which allows players to play when the PS5 comes out for $69.99, and the unlimited edition which is $89.99.

The game is a direct sequel to the previous Black Ops series, and you will be seeing a lot of the fan favorites in this year’s game.  Black Ops Cold War will drop fans into the depths of the Cold War’s volatile geopolitical battle of the early 1980s.  Players will come face-to-face with historical figures and hard truths, as they battle around the globe through iconic locales like East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey, Soviet KGB headquarters, and more.  You will follow the trail of a shadowy figure named Perseus, who is on a mission to destabilize the global balance of power and change the course of history.  Zombies are coming back for this version of Black Ops, according to the store description.

Zombies offer insane, arcade-style fun.  Zombies also offer some live service options beyond multiplayer.  There were no new details on what will happen with Warzone, but Activision has talked in the past about how it wants Warzone to be a thread that runs through multiple Call of Duty games, so you can assume that they’ll get major updates to Warzone to tie into Black Ops: Cold War.  As of now, the full game reveal will be on September 9 and everything you would want to know will be shown.
